RED WING-2:11 I Arranged By Ted Powers Since the time of corn shucking, ice-creom supper's, and neighborly gatherings, "old time fiddling has been o part of our American Heritage. Old time fiddler’s have a talent all their own which is reflected very stongly in this album by "Old Time Fiddler," Ted Powers, who is "one of a few’’ of the real old time fiddlers still around. Ted has won a lot of blue ribbons for his "old time fiddling" in the past, and still steals the show any where he appears. UUe could talk all day about Ted, but we would like to say a little about his fiddle. The fiddle is a conversation piece at every gathering. It was made in Italy in the year 1733, by Carlo Bergonzi, a student of Stradivarius. It is one of the loudest and clearest sounding fiddles around. Ted really gets a lot of music out of it But if it could talk, I bet it could tell about as many tales as Ted can — about the "cake walks," square dances and etc. So enough said, settle down and listen to some good "old time fiddlin.” CREDITS Ted Powers - Fiddle Hubert Powers - Guitar, Banjo, Bass, & Mandolin Distributed by: United Promotional Service INC.
